The Blackwater valley runs along the Hampshire, Surrey and Berkshire border, starting between Farnham and Aldershot running passed Farnborough, Frimley & Camberley then between the two towns of Sandhurst & Yateley, finally running westward in to open country side passed Eversley & Finchampstead and joining the river Loddon near Swallowfield Berkshire. The River Blackwater has two main tributary: 1) the river Whitewater that starts near  Upton Grey south of Hook & west of Odiham, 2) the river Hart starts near Fleet Hampshire & runs northwards through Hartley Wintney. The Major towns surrounding  the Blackwater valley are Reading, Guildford, Woking and Basingstock, with the following towns and villages close or with in the Blackwater valley:- Bagshot, Blackwater, Bracknell, Crowthorne & Wokingham.
